Description: Lustrous steel and olive. Just a touch of friction on the highpoints and a few contact marks including a line of nicks from the bust to star 1. LDS with a narrow rim cud over the first A in AMERICA (although the cud is weak on this piece). What makes this cent interesting is the "reeded edge." The reeding is uneven and may have been added twice. Reportedly checked by John Wright at the 1993 EAC and confirmed by him then (as stated on the envelope), though whether it was added post minting or not isn't clear.
