Description: When creating each listing I make an effort to list everything I sell at the lowest price offered on eBay by comparing it to other like items for sale. Please check out my other listings, and mark me as a favorite seller. I look forward to doing business with you.Your bidding on: 1 - 1823/2 Capped Bust Dime xf40 Small E variety exceptional details for the grade, it is a rare premium type coin. The coin has the luster and details of a much higher grade. Please compare the details and eye appeal of "every 1823/2 capped bust dime small E listed that is not uncirculated", and you will quickly see it has considerable more details than all of them. When comparing please notice that many of the stars are bold having complete lines and centers, the hair on the face has details, on the reverse only the high points of the eagle show wear, and the arrowheads have raised centers. I bought this coin raw thinking it would straight grade AU 53 or 55. Please look at AU examples and you can see for yourself this coin has considerably more details. PCGS has xf40 listed at $850 going up. XF45 at $900, AU50 at $1,250 going up. Considering the details and look of this rare variety I priced it to sell.. I purchase coins based on eye appeal, details for the grade, and price. Coin grading is subjective. This coin does not have problems like scratches, damage, altered, tooled, burnished, weak strike, etc. I believe it had an old light cleaning and toned over time. Simply, the coin looks natural, it has great eye appeal, exceptional details, no distractions, and would make a great addition to any set, or type set. The pictures are of the coin you will receive. Please judge the condition yourself. I will ship the card wrapped securely, USPS, first class mail with a tracking number. I am confident you will be happy with your purchase, please check my feedback. Please check out my other, coins for sale. My business plan is high quality, low prices, and reasonable shipping.
