Description: This is an original circa 1870's-1880's plate tintype of a wood house. The house has two porches & there is a picket fence showing on the front & side of the house. In front of the fence is a four wheeled wagon. Standing on the bottom porch is a woman holding a baby & a man holding the hand of a child. There is another building located on the back side of the house to the right which is partly visible. The photo was found many years ago in a Lancaster County, Pa. estate. But, we do not know where the photo was taken. The size is 6 5/16 inches long by 5 inches wide. The photo is somewhat soft. There are numerous bends & surface scratches & some areas of wear & spotting. Please examine the clear photos that we have provided & purchase based on your own opinion as to the condition.
