Description: I am selling a rare 1886 Indian Princess $1 Gold Coin. Only 5,000 of these coins were ever minted and many more have been melted down. Her bust is nicely outlined, with some facial features defined and nearly every letter of "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" shows. Most of LIBERTY can still be seen on the headband. "1 Dollar" and the date are visible on the reverse. The wreath still has nice detail and texture. This coin was holed at some point, causing it to be slightly bent, and may have been cleaned. Part of the rim above "OF AM" appears to have been filed. Still a very scarce piece to add to any type coin collection! Guaranteed authentic!
