Description: Antique Pink Opaque Glass Miniature Oil Lamp with Matching Artichoke Shade, circa 1890s. Unmarked, but attributed to Consolidated Glass Co. The shade and base are matching pieces, but they are made differently. The shade is white glass with original factory paint and the base is an alabaster-type opaque glass with pink swirled into it. The burner is untested for use. The chimney is a later replacement, mid-20th century, There is normal wear from age and use overall. No chips or cracks in the glass. *There is an oval spot on one side that is an original flaw in the glass and there is a white spot on one top corner that is either a flaw or a superb repair that was done by someone like a dentist. There are original flaws such as rough edges on the top and bottom of the shade. Measures about 8-1/2" tall x 4-1/2" diameter.
