Description: 1918-1922 FULPER BISQUE and COMPOSITION BALL-JOINTED 23" DOLL - EXCELLENT - Fulper was and is better known for its Art Pottery and Utilitarian ware - at the close of WWI, in response to demand, the company began offering dolls - however their involvement with dolls only lasted 5 years, from 1918 thru 1922 - they continued to sell off their inventory until 1927. - making this about 100 years of age. Signed on the back of the bisque head with the vertical FULPER mark. The doll's body is fully ball jointed composition with better than average condition, all fingers are good, all else seems fine. The bisque head with such an expressive face is just beautiful - no damage, open mouth with 4 teeth showing and non-sleep eyes. Along with the doll came 2 notes, one about the identification. valuation etc of the doll - the other an old repair/adjustment bill [with terminology I dont understand] for 55.95 - these will accompany the doll and can be reviewed at the end of the pictures.
