This furry recent arrival from darkest Africa with the face of a gorilla and the body of a chimpanzee, has puzzled scientists who can't decide which way he should be classed. Some suggest that the visitor may be the "missing link" between man and monkey. He is in the company of his new owner, Henry Bartels, who owns an animal store in Fulton Street. "Bob", as he is called, seems somewhat puzzled himself. Perhaps he is wondering what a poor monkey is to do these days with the trees so full of endurance sitters. Photo measures 6 x 8inches.
