Description: This handcrafted totem pole was made by the Squamish tribe in Canada during the 1930s. It stands 26 inches tall and depicts traditional Canadian Aboriginal culture. The totem pole is a beautiful example of handmade artwork that would make a great addition to any collection of Canadian Aboriginal artifacts. The piece was created in Port Renwick, BC and showcases the folksy details possibly at the hand of Tommy Moses of the Squamish tribe. Tommy was known to travel to the west coast of Vancouver when working to expand the Canada Pacific Rail. This totem pole is a great representation of the rich history and culture of the Northwest Coast. It would be a unique and valuable addition to any collection of Canadian Aboriginal artwork.
