Description: After the 1925 Art Deco Expo in Paris, the 1939 World's Fair was really the next meaningful world's fair, and the one that put the U.S. on the world map. This packet of admission tickets had belonged to my great-aunt, whose signature can be seen in the 4th photo. Some of the tickets were used, so this young woman of about 35 years old saw an amazing sight--more amazing because she came from the Midwestern city of St. Louis. For World's Fair collectors, for those who love those 2 architectural forms--the trylon and perisphere--this is a great collectible.
