Description: 1960s handmade wooden doll bear cradle bed crib handsewn bedding quiltThis was a Christmas gift to me as a little girl in the 1960s. Cradle was handmade by my grandfather. Includes hand-strung roping for mattress support. Very sturdy; all painted light blue with decorative bear stickers. Bedding was designed and handstitched by my aunt. Includes mattress, pillow, cotton sheet and pillow case with delicate crochet edging, adorable pieced patchwork quilt with soft flannel underside and tied with tiny knots. Mattress has small discolored area, as shown. Magic marker printing (my little sister's name) has been washed from one end of the cradle, but can be faintly seen, as shown in photo. This has been a cherished and delightful plaything, very sturdily build and made to last. Perfect for that special little doll or bear! 10" long, 5.5" wide, 6.6" high. Rocks perfectly, and for a long time! We are a non-smoking/non-pet home. Cradle and bedding has been carefully stored in a cupboard. Scent-free.
