Description: Please read the description prior to purchasing.Available is a made for, 1965 to 1969 Gibson B-25 vintage style handmade transparent Tortoise 1-ply pickguard. We just repaired a 1965 or 1969 Gibson B-25 (according to the serial numbers) that came into our shop and had the opportunity to copy the original Tortoise pickguard. (last 3 photos) This is handcrafted with a rolled and polished edge buffed on our polishing arbor, not CNC cut made in China with sharp unfinished edges. As this handmade acrylic material varies from sheet to sheet, the patterns will be slightly different, however very similar to the photo. This can also be made in a Left Hand model. Just purchase this one and leave us a note. The pickguard total length is 9-1/4", the top section 2-5/8" and the lower, 2-1/2" approximately. If you would like one with more pattern of swirls, just leave us a message on the invoice. We also just copied a 1965 B-25 pickguard that's slightly different from the 1966-69 template. If you have one that's earlier than the 66-69' patterns, just leave us a note.This Tortoise material is approximate .080-.090" (2.03-2.39 mm) thick. Made of acrylic, with better stiffness and resistance to warping than celluloid when suspended over a carved-top guitar or mandolin. The pickguard will come with included double sided adhesive tape that's already attached. The guitar is not included. (for the other guy that thought so) We can also make it without double sided tape attached so it can be glued with Hide glue as the originals. All of our pickguards are copied from customer supplied original pickguards, never tracings which lose accuracy.
