Crawfish - A Milchem Incorporated worker prepares to deliver another load of a total 5,200 pounds of crawfish to the serving line at the company's annual crawfish boil Thursday. Milchem officials said they were "too late this year" to try for a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's largest crawfish cookout. But as one busy executive observed Thursday, "It gets bigger every year." The event is a traditional party for Milchem customers which dates back to the late 1950s. This year about 2,500 people lined up to consume 1,300 ears of corn, 400 pounds of cole slaw, 50 pounds of onions, 8 gallons of pickles, 4 gallons of jalapenos and several kegs of beer along with all the crawfish.Photo measures 8 x 10.25inches.
