Description: Just in is this amazing 1980 Gibson Les Paul Custom in SIlverburst Quick Details Make Gibson Model Les Paul Custom Year 1980 Color Silverburst Weight 10.16lbs Nut Width 1.69” Depth at 1st Fret 0.87” Depth at 12th Fret 1.03” Case Original Chainsaw case Serial # 83530533 DescriptionThis is an extremely clean example of a 1980 Silverburst Les Paul Custom.The guitar is all original minus a new bone nut and leather strap extenders that replaced the strap buttons many years ago.The body is in great shape with no major issues at all. There is a small scratch on the upper bout in between the binding on the front and back of the guitar (pictured). There are also some very light pick scratches on the upper bout and on the pickup rings from use. There is also light Buckle rash on the back. The paint on the back of the neck of the guitar is also in great shape and not worn away like almost all of them.The clearcoat has perfectly greened over the years.The pickups and electronics are all original and work and sound great. As stated above the guitar has had a new bone nut installed and at the same time the guitar was set up and plays amazingly.Every note rings loud and clear!The tuner and the rest of the hardware on the guitar are all original and work perfect.If you’re looking for one of the best examples of these guitars from this time period, then this Silverburst is for you.
