1989 Ford Fire Truck Engine

Description: I have a working 1989 Ford F8000 fire engine for sale. I am 2nd owner. First owner was the Lykens Twp Vol Fire Dept in Crawford County Ohio. I was a member of this fire dept for many years and I ran this truck myself on several fire calls. It still is working and pumps water. Rated at 1000gpm and it will still pass an annual pump certification and could be placed back into fire service. 1000 gallon onboard water. I bought this truck at public auction after they upgraded to a newer truck. They really didn't need to replace this truck but they just wanted a newer one. This truck only has 15,000 miles on it and is in great shape. CAT V8 Diesel engine with Allison Automatic Transmission. Looks good, drives good, and runs good. Has always been stored inside a heated building. Absouletely nothing wrong with this truck mechanically. I have the original pump manual from Gruman on how to operate it but I also can show you how to operate it since i am farmilier with the truck. You will not find a cleaner 1989 Ford F8000 cabover than this. This was not a very active fire dept in the county.
