TRES CHIC Vintage Barbie GOLDEN ELEGANCE OF EXC/C #992 Hat Hankie Jewelry BIN!

Description: Barbie was living large in this luxurious special occasion ensemble, Golden Elegance! The same pattern as Barbie's Evening Splendour outfit was used with beautiful red & gold lame brocade fabric, and accented with real fur cuffs on this evening coat and hat! This vintage Golden Elegance outfit is in Excellent and Complete condition, and includes the tagged gold lame sheath coat and dress on a clear plastic dress form, fur hat, red velvet purse, rare "hankie", short white gloves, pearl necklace and earrings, and brown mules. Everything here is original vintage Mattel, nothing is reproduction. This outfit should display much better than Excellent. I don't rate anything as "Mint" unless I've just taken it out of the original packaging. I've collected vintage Barbie for 30+ years, and I scrutinize items I sell on eBay. If you have a question that my description hasn't answered, please ask me:) You may want to save me as a seller, as I'm selling a large vintage Barbie collection on eBay. Sorry, only US shipping on this outfit, as I've had problems with items with real fur being confiscated by customs. Barbie's matching sheath and coat look very nice, with brilliant lame fabric that shows little wear. The sheath's back zipper works great. The coat's lush fur cuffs are still attached well, the fur has not dried out. The coat's satin lining doesn't have any frays or holes and the red color hasn't faded. I do notice a couple faint lines on the left lower side of the lining, see pic #6. These won't show on display. The fur hat band has an intact wire inside the hatband, and the hat's fur is in very nice shape. The pearls on the front of the hat look good with nice shine. The red velvet purse is clean, and it has its ring and button closure. The rare hankie is clean and looks great. The short white gloves don't have any holes or rips; they are in great shape. The pearl necklace looks nice; the pearls are an ivory color, and they have a lot of shine still. The hook and loop closure has corrosion on it, and the string has stretched a bit, but the necklace should still display fine. The pearl post earrings also have most of their pearly luster. The brown mules are marked Japan on the bottom of 1 shoe, and they don't have any cracks or splits. Your favorite Barbie will star in her ultimate soiree in Golden Elegance!
