Description: You will be receiving three VERY large, plated brass binding posts (not 100% sure they are brass, but most likely are) which were taken off a piece of equipment from the early 1900's. These types of posts were used on telegraph, quack medical devices, turn of the century batteries, etc. The base is 0.98" in diameter and stands 1.33" tall (without thumbscrew attached). These were used to bind a larger gauge wire because the holes for the wire are 0.375" in diameter. They each weigh 4.2 ounces. I did not attempt to clean them to see what type of plating because a lot of collectors like them original (I am guessing they are nickel plated). The mounting thread size is weird. Nothing I have fits it. It is a very fine thread. All the thumbscrews work effortlessly. The quarter is just for size comparison and is not included.
