Variegated strings of pearls are a unique and visually striking variety of the popular strings of pearls plant. Their leaves exhibit a mix of colors, from white to cream mixed with green. Variegation vary from plant to plant, with some having more pronounced variegation than others. They are trailing succulents with bead-like leaves that grow along their long, slender stems which cascade downward, creating a waterfall-like effect. They prefer bright, indirect sunlight and can tolerate some morning or evening sun. Avoid direct sunlight. However, insufficient light can result in reduced variegation, so make sure to provide 4-6 hours of indirect sunlight to maintain the vibrant colors.Allow the soil to dry out between watering. Water thoroughly and saturate the soil and allow the excess water to drain away. Use a well-draining soil mix formulated for succulents or cacti.They prefer moderate to warm temperatures of 60-85°F. Protect from extreme temperature fluctuations and frost.Feed with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer designed for succulents. Dilute the fertilizer to half the recommended strength and apply during the growing season (spring and summer) every 2-4 weeks.
