The author describes in detail the taxation and inflation that have eroded his small amount of savings, as well as the continued lack of jobs.Although a confusing number of "Wage Earners' Leagues" have existed, this pamphlet appears to have been published by the Wage Earners' League established circa 1924 in Chicago (supported by the Chicago printing slug). Emerging from the farmer-labor party, it appears to have primarily operated in the Midwest as a political action committee that was later aligned with the Republican Party.
