Abeka 1st Grade Curriculum, Teacher Lesson Plans & Student Readers

Description: Used Abeka Academy 1st Grade Curriculum, all teacher's curriculum lesson plans included. The "textbooks" and workbooks are not included as these are consumables (to be written in by the child). This is a mixture of the lastest and previous editions, all is included to teach the full year successfully. We used this combination and it worked out great, the page number on the language lesson plans is exactly 1 page off from the newer language workbook, please keep this in mind when instructing your child. The only difference from the previous version and latest version is the photo content which I assume was done to follow along with political correctness. For example the phonics charts show an "Indian" (Native American) in the previous edition and the latest one shows an "inchworm". Most photos are completely the same in both editions. Doing two different versions saves a lot of money, no difference in the education. All books are in near perfect condition, I did put some box tape along the entire spine of the Stepping Stones Reader as it arrived to me with a tiny rip at the very top. I wanted to make sure there would be no damage to it by my little ones. All other readers have no preservation work. I would highly recommend box tape on the spine for all readers though, new or used (it works great!). Highlighting: there is some highlighting in the older lesson plans but very minimal. The items highlighted is usually a particular main point being expressed that is only seen once in the curriculum. This was done by a previous owner, I ended up using the same highlighted items and found it helpful. Most is not highlighted and the newer books have none that I could find when I double checked.
