Description: Here is a lovely, woodland fairy doll by artist Akira Blount. She is a cloth, soft sculpture doll. Her face is needle sculpted with embroidered eyebrows and painted features.Her hair is soft, strawberry-blonde mohair with braids. She wears a rose colored flower on her head.Her dress is made from antique fabrics including lace in differing shades of ivory. She has tiny pink rosebuds at her neck and waistband.On her back she has gold fabric fairy wings. Her legs are made from blue fabric, her shoes are black velvet with pink trim and her hands have stitched fingers. She comes with her wood base.She is signed under her left foot, Akira 1997.A beautiful doll with a sweet face! Size: 14" with stand. Condition: There are several tiny spots, including one on her bodice. The stick attached to one foot (which should be placed in the hole in base) has broken off but she can still stand on the wooden base with the stick attached to the other foot.
