Description: 2002-2003 In The Game Used Stick & Jersey Series with an authentic game used Toronto Maple Leafs jersey patch and stick for former NHL player Alexander Mogilny. Mogilny is a Russian former professional ice hockey player and the current president of Amur Khabarovsk of the Kontinental Hockey League. He was the first National Hockey League draftee to defect from the Soviet Union in order to play in North America. During his NHL career, Mogilny played for the Buffalo Sabres, Vancouver Canucks, Toronto Maple Leafs and New Jersey Devils. He tied for the NHL lead in goals in the 1992–93 season with 76, and became a member of the Triple Gold Club by winning the Stanley Cup in 2000 with New Jersey. In 2016, he was inducted into the Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame. He did not attend the ceremony, and there is speculation that he has been snubbed from the Hockey Hall of Fame because of fears he would not attend the festivities, despite having comparable statistics to recent inductees such as Daniel Alfredsson and Paul Kariya.The scan shows the actual item - any scratches are on the holder and not the card.
