Description: Antique Hanging Scale by Chatillon & Sons, NY circa 1920. Brass case on the 2-sided face with an enamel painted tray that attaches with a brass hook. When hanging the scale measures approximately 3 feet from top hook to tray bottom. The reverse side of the face is timeworn and missing the dial and both sides have no glass. The front side provides an accurate working scale measuring up to 20 pounds. Originally a country store produce scale, now an attractive antique decorative piece for the modern kitchen.
