Description: Set of 6 antique Coalport Kings Ware chinoiserie salad/dessert plates, 8 1/4” across. They feature a richly colored scene depicting a bird of paradise with a field and tree with flowers. They also feature scalloped edges and a detail floral pattern around the edges. These do demonstrate wear commensurate with their age. There is crazing throughout, as well as darkening in some areas, but primarily to one plate. The top surfaces of each plate has been shown in photographs. There are no chips to these plates, however there are small areas that appear to be worn down on the underneath sides of the plates. There are other miscellaneous small marks here and there.
