Description: Adams Co. Prayer Rug pattern is a lovely example of serving pieces found in the Victorian Age. Horseshoes, anchors and flowers encourage good luck, and it has that EAPG pale green glow. In excellent condition for 140+ year old tableware, this antique clear serving tray that spells out "Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread" will be a pleasing complement to any collection. There is normal evidence of use, but no deep cuts, dishwasher whiting, cracks or chips. There are minor typical surface scratch marks consistent with evidence of utensil marks, or use of a brush on the old glass during cleaning. Handle edges have internal lines that may have occurred during manufacture. Please see images. The tray measures 13" length, 9" width and 1 1/4" height. As with EAPG, depression and vintage glass, there may be slight 'character' marks, bubbles, ripples and mold lines on bottoms or sides from the original glass mold and/or production process.
