Description: High quality French stamped movement by clockmaker F MARTI; solid brass plate 8-day wind two train suspension spring movement in AMAZING original condition with matching number 677 pendulum; faceplate contains ART DECO stylized raised chrome colored Arabic numerals stamped onto a bronze textured rectangular shaped clock face; the minute & hour black colored hands are handsomely articulated in the ART DECO Style; chimes on melodious large cast brass bell; both movement & bell assemblies are mounted securely to case. Masterfully made high quality ART DECO Style soft cream & richly veined brown onyx case rests upon black marble base with polished chromed cushion feet; original modest beveled clear glass (scratch free) front panel sets inside a curved edge chrome door frame hinged at one side; friction type latching device with finger tab mounted to side opposite the hinge; the diagonal stepped clock case sides are each decorated with polished chrome stepped and curving decorative pieces placed upon the stepped onyx case; a very rare and desirable ART DECO designed mantle/table clock; matching number 677 pendulum. Chiming correctly & running on time. Winding key included. DIMENSIONS: height 9” x width 17 x depth 4 ¾” I am NOT a retailer. I am an antique clock collector wishing to reduce my clock collection. This clock comes from my collection & has been running successfully for several years with no difficulties. It has been tested prior to this offering. Clock set-up to establish the correct “beat” is paramount to the clock’s operation, accomplished through placement & leveling (sometimes with rotating the movement while in the clock case). Additionally, temperature & humidity may affect it over time as well. Do not over wind a clock. Lastly, I cannot not guarantee the clock’s operation once shipped. I do take pride as a seller and buyer of these clocks. All shipments will be wrapped in bubble wrap (key & pendulum wrapped separately) set tightly into box containing Styrofoam peanuts, tapped shut & then placed into second box (as may be necessary) filled with padding for added protection, taped shut on all sides.
