The child, with slightly curly hair and a captivating gaze, exudes a sense of pride. The painting is signed in the lower left corner Victor Grandchamp and dated 1861. It is presented in its original Louis XVI-style frame made of wood and gilded stucco, featuring its original gold leaf gilding in excellent condition.
