Description: For your consideration is an antique kerosene lamp. This lamp has an ornate frosted glass fount and an ornate cast iron base. The bolt that attaches the fount to the base, is concealed by a brass sleeve-like an item. The burner is No.2 in size, but does not say No. 2. The only writing, is: QUEEN ANNE. The collar is a Taplin-Brown type. This type of collar received two Patents in 1875-1876. I assume this lamp was manufactured after the Patents and before 1900. The total height is approximately 16 1/8". From the surface it is sitting on, to the top of the collar is approximately 7 7/8". On the cast iron base: From the tip of one "foot" to the tip of the opposite "foot" is approximately 7".This lamp is an old item, that has been used. It is in as found condition. The ornate frosted gloss fount, has 0 cracks and 0 chips, however it needs to be properly cleaned. I assume the ornate cast iron base has been repainted. Some owners would have the brass polished. The opening on the QUEEN ANNE burner is jagged. The burner functions, but not as smooth as some burners. The chimney has 0 cracks & 0 chips. Please, carefully examine the pictures, as the pictures are part of the description.Whenever, it is practical, I will combine shipping.
