Description: Up for auction is an antique oriental meat cleaver. It is made of steel with a solid wood handle. It is about 11 1/2 inches long and the blade is about 6 inches tall. It has some Chinese markings on the blade, as shown in the pictures. I am told that it says something to the effect of Multi use/heavy use. There is a small chip on the underside of the handle, as shown in the pictures. It appears to cause the handle to be slightly loose, but it is not very serious at all. Very well-made. The blade has a couple of very minor chips, but a good sharpening should take care of that. Overall, it appears to be in good solid condition. Super cool. Ultra rare.
