Description: This Offering is for One (1) Antique Royal “Arrow” Manual Portable Typewriter.From the 1940s I believe.Great Grey / Black finish to it.Graphics are in great condition, “ROYAL” Appears Fantastic, “ The text “Arrow” a little less than “Fantastic” but still “Very Good”(See Photo #2) This Typewriter comes with a Case. The case is in Great condition for age. (See Pic’s 11, 12,1,2,3,4,5,6 & 8) Of Course The Condition of this Typewriter & Case is "PreOwned" & The condition of such is commensurate with its age and the decades that it has been utilized. The return bar functions as expected… The typewriter does function, but should undergo a tune-up. As shown in photo # 8 What is typed is today’s date: June 4, 2021…all keys were tested 3X to ascertain functionality. This should be in no way a guarantee that these keys always will work or do work & we do encourage this machine to have a tuneup &/or cleaning Arranged by the New Owner… Although our typing skills are lacking… this typewriter functioned for us on June 4, 2021 - if you see it on the paper it did work that day… We do want to reiterate it most likely needs a tuneup. A NEW Black/Red Ribbon was Installed on June 4th 2021. So this Typewriter could use a Minor cleaning & a Tune-Up: tasks we are unknowing of how to accomplish… I will leave that for the next owner. Just a note: We do not ever try to improve upon our listings in any way shape or form. Besides a dusting we don’t ever try to recondition nor Majorly Repairs items. We leave that to the new owner… The Typewriter &/or case might have minor cosmetic imperfections as any 70+ year old item might. What we do want any prospective buyer to know is we are trying to point out everything possible, positive & negative about this machine. No key, but locking hinge goes into lock and secures the case with no issues.Any & all signs of wear / condition are commensurate with this offerings age. For the past few decades this has resided in a closet untouched & historically Cherished. Over the Decades it’s been our Guest within our Pet-free / Smoke-free Home, so no retained odors… Please see Photos for further information on condition.
