Please compare all 4 methods available under the shipping tab. Up for your consideration is a fabulous antique steamer trunk. This is an antique steamer trunk, military trunk, these were usually used for travel or shipment. The lock, which sadly does not have a key, has the words Eagle Lock Co. Terryville, Conn. engraved on it. This trunk is, in my opinion, in amazingly good condition for its age and use There are scratches and nicks. There is oxidation on the metal. There are stains on the interior. The original tray is not still present. The oak strapping on the exterior is in good condition. Both straps are present, one is broken. The key is not present. There is a lot of wear on the leather handles and straps with some breakage. It has an incredible amount of character and would be a wonderful addition to any home. This trunk would be a great coffee table or other accent piece. Refer to the pictures for explanation of condition. All of these things added together is what makes these vintage pieces so attractive to us. It takes us back to an earlier, simple time, when things were not throwaway and disposable. reclaim-bring it back home. repurpose-chances are it won't be used in its original form, the possibilities of use are only limited by your imagination. reuse-too much from our lives is throwaway.
