What we like best about this MacBook Pro: This model comes with a larger screen than the previous models which were only 15 inches. The extra 1 inch doesn't seem to make the machine more difficult to move around, but simply makes working on projects easier than ever before. The previous 3 years of MacBook Pro's had keys that sat lower in the top case and often times cause key strike errors due to the design. The magic keyboard (also known as the "scissor keyboard") was a very welcome upgrade to this model specifically, and we know you'll love it as much as we do :) This Touch Bar / Touch ID POWERHOUSE features an 9th Generation 2.4 GHz Intel "Core i9" processor, with eight independent processor "cores" on a single silicon chip.This system also supports "Turbo Boost 2.0" -- which "automatically increases the speed of the active cores" to improve performance when needed (up to 4.8Ghz for this model) -- and "Hyper Threading" -- which allows the system to recognize sixteen total "cores" or "threads" (8 real and 8 virtual).
