Description: Hi my name is Tony and I have for sale a lovely Art Nouveau period ca 1900 Austrian Amphora Vase with applied Leaves, Gilt Grapes, and green Vines. The body of the vase in a deep blue iridescent glaze with gilded highlights. The vase has 4 gilt dripping columns and stands 7.5 inches high, about 4.5 inches wide across the middle, and 2 inches across the top opening and 3.25 inches across the base. There are minor nibbles to the edges of some leaves and perhaps 1 missing grape at the top of the cluster. Missing Vines. No other breaks, cracks or repairs. Displays beautifully. Marked with impressed AMPHORA in oval and the raised Edda pad with impressed numbers and painters' marks. Being sold as is. Continental USA only.
