A striking beauty very well preserved with only minor cradle tip touch up.With its cleaned detailed and adjusted 684A ringer box the bells ring in not jarringly loud but with melodic tones different from the modern mechanical ringers. The in & outgoing speech is loud and clear on this E-1 handset.Note the dates inside: 8-15-28. The back of the base below the cord entry is dated as well. With a new original F-1 capsule transmitter in 1938 the handset retains it's 1931 receiver unit. It has brown cloth cording. The handset has an ample length new coil cord manufactured in our shop. The coil cord will keep your table clear and free of drawer collisions. Last stop in its restoral is the modular jack and cording. It's now ready to use once again!
