The genuine cowhide is 3/16" thick construction, well sewn with brass rivets and buckle. These would be great for so many outdoor uses including beach blankets, bedrolls, hunting, hiking, camping, mororcyle touring bikes, equstrian activities such as pack horses...even collecting firewood or to use as an aid in hauling heavy items. The straps have ten holes for adjusting up to approximately 8" diameter rolls. Handle strap is 1" wide with a 2" wide heavy duty backer for strength.
