Description: This listing is for:Silk Blazer - Sand/Gold & Aqua/Eau de Nil Brand: All Saints Original RRP: Description: Classically cut blazer in a gorgeous 100% SILK jacquard fabric - iridescent Sand/Gold/Coffee & Aqua/Eau de Nil/Grey shades that changes depending on how the light falls onto the fabric. In some lights, the fabric almost 'glows' around the edges if that is even possible? - see close up photo of the fabric to show this best (trousers).... It is extremely hard to describe & hard to capture on camera.No filters or colour enhancement has been used. The photos capture the natural iridescence of the fabric that changes depending on the light source. Sometimes the fabric looks less/more iridescent.Fully lined in a champagne coloured, 50% acetate & 50% taffeta mixed fabric. The two pockets are currently tacked closed, but this is the type of stitching that is meant to be unpicked if you wish to use the pockets and should not damage the jacket if done carefully. The blazer does not have a boxy/square cut - it has a more fitted cut and so when worn unfastened, it still retains the look of a well fitting jacket, which is more flattering :-) .Looks great styled with jeans, smart trousers, leather trousers or as a suit (see below for trousers details) Can look classic or contemporary depending on what you pair it with and how you accessorise.This is a Vintage All Saints garment, from one of their earliest collections and subsequently these garments are actually rather rare! For those that do not know the history of All Saints they have changed their branding, internal labels and swing tickets *many times* during their history and that there are lots of variations of internal label. This garment has a grey internal label & swing ticket (the very earliest type). Because it is from an early stage in All Saints design history, the internal brand label & swing ticket features their original logo, are grey & look different from the current ramskull branding that most people associate with the brand now. The label also has the names of the two original founders & designers - Stuart Trevor & Kait Bolongaro. Please note that even though the branding labels are different from current AllSaints branding, this is still a genuine AllSaints garment.AllSaints fans will know about the brand's evolution, and so you will know that All Saints have changed their internal branding labels **many times** throughout their design history. Most people buy an item for it's own merits, not for the label that is sewn inside, as really it is the garment that is important and for is sale, not the internal labeling! :-D :-DThis classic & timeless design never goes out of fashion and will be a striking wardrobe asset for many years to come.
