Description: Nice tree from Australia that can be used for bonsai or a landscape specimen. Drought tolerant. Developes a stout trunk over time, though not as much as rupestris. Roots can bel elevated for effect. Pale pink tulip like flowers. I've cut this plant back hard for a couple years to begin to develop a nice bonsai form, but it could easily be used as a landscape specimen. BIG PLANT shown in a 5g pot and shipping reflects this. Shipped bare root with the roots wrapped to conserve moisture. Sunset zones 8,9 11-24. Depending on when this plant is purchased all of the branches may be tip pruned to fit in the pot (this will help develop the form and should be done anyway.)
