Description: Lightly used Charlton Signature Series 8500 1.2 with extra Spool. I never returned the reel to Charlton for signature engraving - good for prospective buyer. This is the 1.2 size, which fits an 8 wt. / 9 wt. line perfectly. Reel is in near perfect condition. There is one small nick in the wood handle on one spool, and one minor nick in the same spool frame. Second spool and frame are as-new (pictures show lint that I can’t get rid of). This reel’s drag is beyond belief. Guaranteed to retain its exact drag at every click of the drag wheel through the life of the reel. Drag wheel feels like butter. Cork drag? Not a chance! I am the original owner, and will include both original reel and spool cases and letter instructions from Jack Charlton. Spools will come with backing (I’ll remove the lines).
