Description: This listing is for an unusual circa 1932 CONKLIN chased black hard rubber pen in truly excellent condition. The date was estimated by the use of a slender Conklin clip that wasn't introduced until the early '30's and used on the early Nozaks. The hard rubber is excellent with no toning, but a little more wear on the barrel than on the cap. There is also wear to the two line Conklin barrel imprint but most is still legible. The gold filled clip is marked just CONKLIN in script. The tiny lever of the period is similarly marked and also has simplified crescent on the tab. The pen still takes up in ink, though the lever is a little creaky in its movement. The nib is an excellent extra fine, firm with straight tines. It is marked with the smiley crescent logo, CONKLIN, TOLEDO, 14KT, USA. Nice pen! Prior to bidding, please read below the information on payment, return policy and on international shipping.
