The six drawers of varying sizes glide on 100 lb. rated ball-bearing drawer slides. The slides are also equipped with a soft-closing mechanism that ensures the drawers never slam close. The lower left drawer has a separate lock and key that allows the user to lock up personal items while leaving the rest of the chest open and accessible.
