Gate-fold cover looks good, a few creases near edges; light scuffing, general discoloration with darker spots and some surface impressions (front/back). Inner-gate has a few discoloration spots and light scuffing. Inner-sleeve is generic white. Spine is somewhat readable with wear. Shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners, tiny splits at corners. Opening is crisp with signs of use and divots. (Not a cut-out.) ABOUT THE RECORDThis album was the soundtrack for Doctor Dolittle, a musical comedy film starring Rex Harrison, Samantha Eggar, Anthony Newley, and Richard Attenborough. There was an enormous media blitz surrounding the release of the film's soundtrack album, and half a million copies of the LP were shipped to retail stores four months before the premiere of the film. Featured in this soundtrack is "Something in Your Smile", which was sung in film by Dolittle while writing a letter to Emma after she has returned to England.
