Description: In May 1972, 4,000 garment workers at Farah Manufacturing Company in El Paso went out on strike for the right to be represented by a union, the Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America (ACWA). The strikers were virtually all Hispanic; 85 percent were women. Their labor action lasted until they won union representation in March 1974. It grew to encompass a national boycott of Farah pants. This tab supporting the boycott was put out by the AFL-CIO Union Label Department. 1 5/8 inch. Will combine shipping. Please look at my other items. Thanks
