Description: Antique early American pressed glass (EAPG) compote from the late 1800’s Manufactured by Adams and Co The pattern is officially known as “sensation” but is more commonly called the “thousand eye” pattern or “the buggy bowl” The color is “apple green” (they’re name for the color although it is definitely more aqua then green) The pattern plus the color and form is a rare combo The glass contains uranium which means it will glow brightly under UV light. The first picture is under UV light and the rest are in natural light No chips although there are faint scratches inside the bowl from normal use The compote is 8.5x8.5x5.75 This is an antique or vintage piece and as a result bears evidence of its rich life. It is not factory fresh. That’s how we like it but please check all pictures to make sure you agree with our aesthetic as all sales are final
