Description: Beautiful glass platter made by US Glass Co in the state-named pattern known as "New Jersey" or "Loops and Drops" (#15070), circa 1900. This is from the EAPG (Early American Pattern Glass) period of late 19th/ early 20th century where inexpensive pressed glass was made to look like more elegant cut crystal for the average American table. This serving platter is round with a scalloped edge and foot, and has a lovely pattern of loops which looks beautiful. The piece measures 11 1/2" in diameter and 1" tall with the foot, and is in excellent condition with no damage. It continues to add elegance to your dining table even a hundred years later!
