It is a hand painted planter from Germany and it features stunning floral designs in gold. This is an absolutely gorgeous piece and it would make a wonderful addition to your home or collection. Details: This auction is for the stunning Vintage Von Schierholz Large Porcelain Centerpiece, all hand made ~ circa 1950s? The white porcelain centerpiece stands on four feet, it is intricately reticulated, adorned with colorful hand painting of gorgeous flowers, rich gilding. Lovely open lattice work. CONDITION: Excellent Vintage condition with perfect gildin; no chips, cracks or repairs. Markings: The underside of this piece bears the Von Schierholz mark in green, as well as the incised numbers “1426” (Date Mark?) There is also a "2" incised on the outer rim. MEASUREMENTS: The Centerpiece measures approx. 13 1/2" long x 6 3/4" tall at the highest point by side handle x 7 1/2" deep WEIGHT: 3 lbs. THIS PIECE IS BREATHTAKINGLY BEAUTIFUL AND RARE.
