Description: This listing is for a NEW ACTIVATED CARBON FRYER FILTER for use in a PERFECT FRY countertop, ventless deep fryer for $54.95. It fits any of the PFC/PFA/SFC series fryers, as well as the older Model 686. These filters replace the 2FV803 and the both parts of the two part 2FK001 made by Perfect Fry. We, at FSS Filters, manufacture these filters to the highest standards. We are not affiliated with the Perfect Fry Company. Filters measure 11 5/8 by 10 9/16 by 3 5/8 inches and weigh about 5 to 6 pounds. Filters for these model fryers retail from others for as much as $160.00 each, plus S&H. The fryer manufacturer recommends the following filter replacement schedule by model: PFC model fryers used less than 12 hrs./day -- every 90 days; PFC model fryers used more than 12 hrs./day -- every 60 days; PFA model fryers used less than 12 hrs./day -- every 60 days; and PFA model fryers used more than 12 hrs./day -- every 30 days. They changed to a 2 piece filter a couple of years ago and dramatically increased their price. Ads picturing the old one piece Perfect Fry filter still appear but they are actually selling the 2 piece. The Perfect Fry brand one piece filter is no longer sold. When you buy one for $150 you get 2 pieces, a 2 inch high white paper box and a shiny 2 inch high metal box of the same dimensions. You are then meant to replace and discard the white paper box and the shiny metal box you are then currently using at the same time. Our filter being one piece of the same dimensions as the combination of both the white paper box and metal box is to be used in their stead.
