Description: Very nice crystal cityscape of New York City sitting on an oval smooth iridescent base. The colors of the base sometimes retract from the crystal buildings, depending on how you are looking at it and in which light, it's an amazing piece of work and the crystal is heavy but yet also very delicate and apparently nicely made. I see purples, blues, golds, pinks and oranges, a few at a time and at different times, in the irredescent base, depending on how it is turned in the light. This is a high quality finely detailed crystal piece. See above for measurements. Prior ownership was had by a US Military General and his wife, and is also very nice piece of art. I am pretty sure that this unmarked item is a Fineline piece, and was made in memory of the tragic events of 9/11/01 and in memory of some of our fallen heroes, however the stickers were not well affixed to the bottoms when they were manufactured, so very few remain.
