Description: Antique French mantel set, 3 piece. Bearing the name "Captif" or "Prisoner", it was made by Francois Moreau. I believe, based on research, it's approximately made in 1880-1890. I'm not entirely sure if it was gilded or is it all bronze. Enamelled clock with hand-painted flowers looks amazing. Machine was serviced and cleaned, plays a beautiful sound on half hour and hour marks. Base is marble in orange tones, beautiful patina over sculptures. Price reduction due to one broken finger on boy's hand, small crack lines on marble and one handle on cup being broken then welded back. Base clock is 40 cm tall and 34 x 14.5 cm in base. Cups are 35 cm tall, base 11.5 x 10.5 cm. They weigh 3.26, 3.32 and 8.4 kg. Combined weight is just under 15 kg.
