Description: This collection (brought to you by old man, Duffy,) features a variety of 1/2 standard oz (14 grams) 90% US "Junk" silver coins per lot, mostly minted until 1964. There will be no silver or other nickels, nor 40% JFK halves minted between 1965 and 1969. Packages mostly will contain dimes and quarters, rarely half dollars and a very few lucky orders will have some dollar coins. multiple orders have a better chance of getting the larger coins. there are proof coins included in the large Jar available, but no guarantee that you will receive in any particular lot. The coins are a combination of uncirculated and circulated strike types, with fineness of 0.900 and mint locations CAN include San Francisco, New Orleans, Denver, and Philadelphia. They are ungraded and come with various KM numbers, making them a great addition to any coin collection. The coins are sold uncertified and ungraded, but with some proofs coming with certification from the US Mint and other sources. My dad and Duffy used to always yell at blind Richie and all the boyz for never putting those crazy 45 and 100 pound weights back on the rack. Duffy worked out every day of his life until final his debilitating illness prevented from doing so. He always had wise words and made everyone in the gym laugh so hard that it was a workout hazard! Much of his legacy was spent on ice creams and candy when the great-grandkids found jars of old coins in the attic. Predictably, the family was in an uproar when they realized that many of these old dusty coins were little treasures. After discovery, the great majority of the real good stuff went under the hammer at the big auction houses. I had the opportunity of a lifetime by purchasing the “rejects” in exchange for my lifetime savings!
