CASE: This is an absolutely beautiful and rare 4 piece GOLD PLATED WATCH CASE BY Aaron Luftkin Dennsion who was watch case maker to ROLEX at this time in the UK. Inscribed inside the dustcover with a guarantee for 10 years. The case is in GOOD ORIGINAL condition. It shows some light scratches and one very small ding (case back) through normal use. The case opens to reveal a gold-plated dust cover which is in good condition with light wear thru’ and is showing one scratch. The dustcover has a presentation inscription dated to 1927. The watch measures (50mm) in diameter excluding the crown and chain ring. DIAL: This is a wonderful bright white original MINTY dial. The dial is in fantastic condition! All of the black painted Roman numerals are in minty condition, showing no wear to the eye. The dial is usigned. The dial has 2 fantastic original blued steel 'spade' design hands which look to be in good condition showing a little oxidisation. The crystal is new and as such is in excellent condition. MOVEMENT: This is a wonderful clean genuine ROLEX TOP GRADE ROLEX quality 15 jewel movement with a compensated balance and blue over coiled hairspring. The movement is FULLY SIGNED BY ROLEX. This beautiful movement is in excellent condition and is in good working order It is running well. I have had it lightly oiled and timed to its best by my watch maker. I have timed it over 24 hours and it keeps good time to within approximately a minute per day. As always, a full service would be recommended for optimum performance, continued operation and timekeeping. All in all this is a beautiful ROLEX FULLY SIGNED movement.
