The gold is excellent with minimal marks or wear. There are no notable marks or scratches from use and storage. The bottom has light shelf wear as expected. There are some variations in the designs. It is marked "Haviland France" in green underglaze, Mark I, which was used between 1894 and 1931 and decorator marked "Haviland & Co.
